Catering by The Place

The Place staff can provide in-house catering for morning and afternoon teas,
and can assist with coordination of catering for lunches and special events.
Please note: The Place catering services are available during reception hours only.

Please let The Place know your catering requirements at least 1 week prior to your event.

Gluten free, nut free, dairy free and other dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

Additional Catering
     The Place can provide contact details for a range of local caterers offering a variety of breakfast, lunch & dinner menus.
     Alternately, The Place can coordinate additional catering items to your requirements, billed at cost plus a service fee*.

*Total service fee for additional catering is calculated as the greater of $25 or 10% of the total catering costs.


Self-catering

Hirer’s are welcome to self-cater for their events and are welcome to engage external caterers.

The semi-commercial kitchen at The Place is available for hire, and features a 6-burner gas stove and oven, benchtop
double deep-fryer, convection microwave, commercial dishwasher and 1300L refrigerator. For more information on the

If needed and subject to availability, The Place can provide hot-water urns, coffee mug and tea-spoons in the hired room,
ready for hirer's to byo tea/coffee/milk/sugar. Please let The Place staff know if these items are required in your room at
the time of booking, or at least 1 week prior to your event.


Alcohol

Events with alcohol may be permitted at The Place, subject to the terms of our limited licence and our conditions of hire.
