Community Hall

The 200m2 Community Hall has a sprung timber floor ideal for dance, drama, martial arts and exercise groups. The Community Hall is well-equipped to cater for seminars, presentations, ceremonies, film-screenings, birthday parties, corporate and social events.

Access to the Community Hall is via the main entry to The Place, or directly from the street via three double doors opening directly into the Hall. The Place's commercial kitchen adjoins the Community Hall and is available for combined or separate hire.

Social Hall

(Formerly known as the 'Youth Room')

The Social Hall has a 100m2 sprung timber floor, a 50m2 vinyl floor ‘wet-area’ and a kitchenette with bar-fridge, double sink, and microwave. The Social Hall is well equipped for corporate and social events, training, seminars, exercise, art and craft classes, youth groups and playgroups.

The room's audio-visual equipment is compatible with CDs, DVDs, MP3 players, laptops and games consoles.

A foosball table, pool table, and table tennis table are available in the Social Hall storeroom. Toddler sized tables and chairs are also available in the Social Hall storeroom.

'The Haven' adjoins the Social Hall, and is available for combined or separate hire.

The Glen

(Formerly known as the 'Activity Room 1')

The Glen is a 50m2 carpeted room equipped with a StarBoard, data projector and in-room speakers. The room is well-appointed for meetings, seminars, group interviews and training days.

Access to The Glen is via the main entry to The Place.

The Haven

(Formerly known as the 'Activity Room 2')

The Haven is a 25m2 carpeted room suitable for meetings, interviews and training days for small groups. The Haven adjoins the Social Hall and is an ideal break out space if both rooms are hired together. WIFI is available in the room.

Access to The Haven is via the main entry to The Place.

Computer Room

The Computer Room is well-equipped for computer based training, digital photo and video editing, and internet based learning. The room has ample deskspace for a presenter's laptop, and wireless internet access is available for presenters.

The room has a data projector and combined whiteboard / projector screen. A laser printer/scanner/copier is available in the room for use during the hire period, BYO A4 paper.

Access to the Computer Room is via the main entry to The Place.

Kitchen

With a 6 burner gas stove and oven, commercial dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, the commercial kitchen at The Place is an ideal space for catering and food preparation, cooking lessons and hospitality training.

Servery access to the Community Hall from the Kitchen is available through a roller-shuttered window when the Kitchen and Community Hall are hired together.

Access to the Kitchen is via the main entry to The Place.
