  • A photobooth to snap those spooktacular costumes

So, don’t ghost this spine-tingling shindig! Round up your crew for a night of dancing, cackles, and Halloween vibes... if you’ve got the guts! Remember, everyone needs a ticket, even parents and carers. This event is also a no-alcohol zone, so bring the whole family for a wickedly good time! 🕸️

♿ Sensory & Accessibility Information

The Place Based Abilities Program is dedicated to ensuring that everyone can participate and enjoy community events, and this Halloween bash is no exception! We’ve made several accommodations to create a sensory and accessibility-friendly environment:

  • Lighting: Warm, low lighting will set the mood—no flashing lights, to avoid overstimulation.
  • Noise Control: Music will be kept at a lower volume, and noise-cancelling headphones will be provided for those who may need them.
  • Breakout/Safe Spaces: Two separate rooms will be available for anyone needing a break from the main event. One room will offer a relaxing atmosphere with minimal noise and calming activities, while the other will be a no-noise zone, complete with fidget and sensory toys.
  • Food: Dietary and allergy-friendly snacks and drinks will be available to accommodate different needs.
  • Disability Access: The event venue will be fully accessible, with ease of movement for those using wheelchairs or mobility aids. External access points are also designed to be disability-friendly.
  • Transport: Conveniently located near a bus stop, and there are disability parking spaces available at Charlestown Square.

Additionally, we encourage guests to prepare a personal Accessibility/Sensory Toolkit to ensure your own comfort during the event.

Get ready to have a frightfully fun time while ensuring that everyone feels welcome and included. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉

This event is proudly presented by the Place Based Abilities Program, promoting inclusivity and fun for all abilities.
