FREE Training - Become a Digital Mentor

Support People Over 50 to Improve their Digital Literacy

There are three dates to choose from:

Thursday the 27th of February - 9:30am– 3:30pm (20 spaces)

Wednesday the 4th of March - 9:30am – 3:30pm (10 spaces)

Wednesday the 11th of March - 9:30am– 3:30pm (20 spaces)

You only need to attend one day of FREE training

Would you like to become a Digital Mentor and support people to improve their digital literacy skills and confidence? Do you work with older people and are looking for ways to support them to use digital devices?

Then you should become a Be Connected Digital Mentor!

The Place is excited to be delivering the Be Connected Digital Literacy Program and will be providing FREE training to become a Digital Mentor. As a Digital Mentor you will gain the skills and confidence to teach people over 50, digital literacy skills using provided resources.

To become a Digital Mentor you need to attend one day of FREE training on one of the dates above.

This is a wonderful opportunity and we welcome anyone over 18 years old who is interested in becoming a Digital Mentor to help family, friends or community groups. This training is particularly beneficial for anyone working with or supporting people over 50, such as those who work in aged care or the community sector.

We will also provide FREE ongoing training and support for all Digital Mentors, including on-call and outreach support, where we help mentors to deliver training to their own participants.
