We look forward to seeing you again

The Place is a COVID Safe business and the community's safety and wellbeing is our priority.

We are following our COVID-19 Safety Plan and have put in place various measures to protect our community, following the current NSW Government guidelines. We are assessing all venue hire bookings individually, based on thecurrent Government guidelines.

We ask everyone who attends our Centre to please cooperate with these measures and respect the safety and wellbeing of our community. Please be mindful of the updates below. 👇

➡️ Everyone must report to reception when entering our Centre and sanitise their hands.

➡️ People cannot congregate in our foyer. Please arrive right on time or only 5 minutes before your activity.

➡️ There are limits on the number of people allowed in our rooms. Please contact us if you are unsure about the numbers allowed for your booking.

➡️ Social distancing guidelines must be followed and floor markings are in place to help to guide you.

➡️ Hand sanitiser is available in all our rooms and throughout our Centre.

➡️ Please DO NOT attend our Centre if you're feeling unwell or even have mild symptoms. Make sure you get tested for COVID-19 to keep everyone safe.

➡️ Please be mindful that our main door may be locked at times to ensure number limits. Knock on the door and staff will attend to you.

The Place is proud to be the first community organisation in NSW to take part in the NSW Device Bank Pilot Program, supporting more people in our community to get connected and build confidence online. Through the program, we helped allocate 30 refurbished laptops to local people in our community, including seniors, carers, people with disability and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Participants receive 12 months of free data, digital skills training and IT Support to help them make the most of their device. Delivered by NSW Telco Authority in partnership with WorkVentures and Good Things Australia, the NSW Device Bank Pilot Program is part of the NSW Government’s Digital Inclusion Strategy. The program helps bridge the digital divide by giving people access to the essential technology, connectivity and support needed in today’s digital world. We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity for our local community and want to thank everyone who made it possible.
