The Place is a COVID Safe business and the community's safety and wellbeing is our priority.

We are following our COVID-19 Safety Plan and have put in place various measures to protect our community, following the current NSW Government guidelines. We are assessing all venue hire bookings individually, based on thecurrent Government guidelines.

We ask everyone who attends our Centre to please cooperate with these measures and respect the safety and wellbeing of our community. Please be mindful of the updates below. 👇

➡️ Everyone must report to reception when entering our Centre and sanitise their hands.

➡️ People cannot congregate in our foyer. Please arrive right on time or only 5 minutes before your activity.

➡️ There are limits on the number of people allowed in our rooms. Please contact us if you are unsure about the numbers allowed for your booking.

➡️ Social distancing guidelines must be followed and floor markings are in place to help to guide you.

➡️ Hand sanitiser is available in all our rooms and throughout our Centre.

➡️ Please DO NOT attend our Centre if you're feeling unwell or even have mild symptoms. Make sure you get tested for COVID-19 to keep everyone safe.

➡️ Please be mindful that our main door may be locked at times to ensure number limits. Knock on the door and staff will attend to you.

If you have questions about an activity or program you attend please contact your program leader directly. Otherwise contact us on 4032 5500 if you have questions about bookings or need information and referral support.

Join a free Creative Networking Event for the Reclaiming My Place Healing & Recovery Project . About the Reclaiming My Place Project: Reclaiming My Place (RMP) is an innovative arts-based program developed by the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education (CEEHE) at the University of Newcastle. The program engages women who have lived experiences of gendered violence and interrupted education journeys, using creative arts to foster mindfulness, healing, relaxation, and pathways to lifelong learning. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow community professionals, discover the transformative impact of creative approaches, and explore ways to support women on their healing journeys. 🔗 Want to know more?
