Study Space

Study Space is a FREE program offered by The Place for Year 11 & 12 students.
Study Space offers HSC students FREE access to: 

  • Homework & social support from volunteer mentors

  • “yourtutor” & ”SkillsBuilder” online professional tutoring

  • Quiet & group study spaces

  • Computers, internet & printing

  • Study guides & resources

  • Information about career pathways, University & TAFE

  • Food & drinks while at Study Space.

Young Parents Group

Free weekly group for parents who are in their teens and early twenties (under 26yrs)
to meet, socialise & share information. Workshops, excursions and activities vary
and are decided on by the parents. Some transport asssistance is available.
Held on 12.30pm - 3pm most Friday afternoons.

Primary Club

Is a fun social opportunity for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who attend primary school.
Hosted on Friday afternoons from 4pm to 5.30pm during school terms. For more information, please click here


Teens' Place

Is a fun social opportunity for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who attend high school.
Hosted on Friday nights from 5.30pm to 7.30pm during school terms.

Eastlakes Youth Centre

Hosted by Youth Workers from  Eastlakes Youth Centre. Free entry.
Free pool, table tennis, games, food & music.
From 6.30pm - 9pm most Thursday nights.


Taekwondo

Taekwondo classes are held at The Place on Thursday afternoons during school terms.

Tantrum Youth Arts

Tantrum Youth Arts offers dynamic, creative opportunities to young people.
Workshops explore play and imagination through a variety of contemporary dramatic arts
practices: character play, physical theatre, storytelling, dance, installation art, improvisation,
visual arts, writing and filmmaking. Workshops are held weekly each Semester at The Place.
