Celebrating 10 Years!

We are very proud to be celebrating our 10th Anniversary in December! The Place has evolved and had so many wonderful experiences over the years. We’re especially proud to continue to be a space for our whole community to meet, connect and belong.

The lovely Karden has worked at The Place since it opened and has recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary. Over the years Karden has seen The Place change, establish it’s own identity and introduce a range of programs based on the needs of the community.

For Karden the highlight has been meeting the people that have made The Place what it is; the hirers, community members, board members, staff and volunteers.

“I’m passionate about coming to The Place, it doesn’t feel like coming to ‘work’, it’s an enjoyable environment to be in, I thoroughly enjoy communicating with everyone who comes in, it’s like being amongst family & friends on a daily occurrence.”
