FREE Drum Circle for Seniors Festival!

Celebrate Together Through the Beat of the Drums

Date: Wednesday 15th February

Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Cost: FREE

We are excited to be hosting a FREE Drum Circle to celebrate NSW Seniors Festival!

The theme for Seniors Festival this year is ‘Celebrate Together’ and we can't wait to connect, socialise and have some fun expressing ourselves through the beat of the drums!

This event will be led by Earthen Rhythms African Drumming who are known for their vibrant energy and expertise in helping people relax and find their own rhythm. Their talented facilitators teach drumming in a safe, upbeat and easy way and are known for bringing joy and laughter to the community through the infectious rhythms of West Africa.

This event is for seniors and all levels of fitness and ability are welcome. You don’t need to have any experience with drumming, just be willing to try it out and have some fun. Let’s make some great music together and enjoy the many benefits of drumming! Drums will be provided, sanitised and safe for use. We’ll also provide snacks and refreshments.

Bookings are essential, as spaces are limited. To book your spot, please call us on (02) 4032 5500 or email us via programs@theplacecharlestown.org.au
