Great Mates 2024 kick off!

The first wave of 2024 for Great Mates has ignited with sheer enthusiasm! This round has been a whirlwind of thrilling activities for our vibrant group of young men. From the captivating reptile showcase with Jabiru Wildlife to the pulsating beats of an Earthen Rhythm djembe drum circle, and not to forget the laughter-filled teamwork challenges like constructing marshmallow and pasta towers and engaging in competitive indoor hockey. The excitement has been palpable, with the boys eagerly returning every Thursday evening, brimming with anticipation for what awaits them.

Amidst all the fun and frolic, the boys have engaged in thought-provoking discussions during the weekly sessions facilitated by Well Education. Their contributions have been nothing short of remarkable, delving into topics such as emotional regulation, cultivating positive relationships, and building resilience. They've shared their personal journeys, navigating the pressures and expectations placed upon them as young men, and have discovered healthy coping mechanisms to overcome adversities.

As this round draws to a close, we've witnessed the blossoming of strong friendships, remarkable moments of reflection, and the display of maturity beyond their years. The feedback from participants and caregivers alike has been overwhelmingly positive. We're thrilled to announce that the next round running from May 9 - 27 June is just around the corner, and we're currently open for registrations!
