The Place: Charlestown Community Centre is the place where people from all walks of life have access to local and regional services including opportunities to participate in educational, developmental, and social activities. We provide a safe and welcoming place that engages and supports a diverse community to connect, share, learn and strengthen.


We are a not-for-profit community facility with a primary purpose of supporting active community development which is enabled through the mechanism of a financially sustainable social enterprise, offering quality space and state of the art facilities that are accessible to the whole community.

Charlestown Youth and Community Centre Inc. are calling for Expressions of Interest from local community members to fill 2 positions on the Board of Governance for The Place: Charlestown Community Centre. The positions available are:

·1 x Youth Representative member (18 to 23 years)

·1 x Community Representative member


To be eligible to apply you must be a resident of Lake Macquarie.


Expressions of interest close Wednesday, 11 September 2019.
