The Spirit of Kindness is Strong
Thank you for your Donations to our Kindness Cupboard
When we launched our Kindness Cupboard in December we were confident it would be positive for our community, however we hadn’t anticipated just how much kindness and generosity it would bring!
We are proud to be able to offer this opportunity for those in need, but what we’ve been most proud of is the response and generosity from our community. Our hearts have been warmed by the donations and contributions we’ve received from a wide range of people in our community; young and old, families, community groups, staff and even our local MP Jodie Harrison. The sense of community connection and community responsibility has been wonderful to see.
Thank you to everyone who has donated non-perishable items. As our cupboard is being used more often, we continue to welcome donations. If you would like to leave something, the following items are particularly useful: ring pull cans of ready to eat foods (e.g. tuna, meat and vegetables, baked beans or spaghetti) long life milk, cereal and microwavable rice and pasta.
Please remember that the cupboard is here at The Place for the whole community and that includes YOU. If you’re struggling or need a helping hand, come and take what you need.
