Celebrating an Amazing Milestone for a Very Special Woman

Alma's 100th Birthday!

On the 8th of February at Tuesday Club we had the honour of celebrating Alma's 100th birthday!

Alma is a truly amazing woman and has lived in Charlestown for over 90 years. She brings her warmth and smile to Tuesday Club and is a much loved member of the group.

Although Alma didn't want a big fuss a celebration was a must! The group was joined by special guests including Alma's daughter Annette and friends from Qigong, Cr Christine Buckley Lake Macquarie East Ward, Noah from Charlestown Square and staff from The Place. A morning tea was enjoyed together, along with some speeches, old photos and of course cake!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it an extra special morning, it was a privilege to celebrate the wonderful Alma together. We look forward to many special celebrations to come, including the Charlestown Square Tuesday Club’s 40th anniversary later this year!
