FREE Social Media Lunch for Over 50's

Date: 30 July 2019
Time: 12:30 - 2:30
Bookings: Call 02 4032 5500

The International Day of Friendship is a dedicated time for recognising the importance of creating and maintaining the bonds we share with family, friends and people in our community as well as combating social isolation.

In celebration of family, friendship & community, The Place: Charlestown Community Centre is hosting a FREE lunch activity for people over the age of 50 who are interested in learning how to use social media apps like Facebook and Skype.

Bring along a friend and your own device if you have one and join us as we introduce you to some popular social networking platforms, show you how to register and connect with people you know and discuss online safety. Participants with carers or support workers are welcome to attend.

Conveniently located at Charlestown Square, The Place: Charlestown Community Centre is situated externally on the corner of Frederick and Pearson Streets with the entrance on Frederick Street.

Please reserve your place by phoning 02 4032 5500 or email: programs@theplacecharlestown.org.au
