Are you a leader with a game changing attitude?

Are you a leader with a game changing attitude? Someone who understands the important role community plays in the social economy, then this opportunity might just be for you.

The Place: Charlestown Community Centre is seeking a Centre Manager to take this modern facility to the next level, and build on an already safe and welcoming environment, which allows a diverse community to connect, share, learn and grow.

Established in 2010, the team at The Place work to drive active community development, underpinned by strong and effective governance, through a mechanism of financially sustainable social enterprise.

Backed by an experienced board, you’ll need proven leadership experience in strategy development, customer service, team building and financial management, with a track record on grant writing that will leave others in the dust.

Previous work in facility management is desirable, while time spent in a not-for-profit incorporated organisation will put you ahead of the crowd.
